Atlanta firefighters are being submitted to conditions you would expect would be in prisons somewhere in a third world country, including rats, water leaks and no heat. Put yourself in their situation for a moment. Imagine being on a  24 hour duty having to rest in between fires under these situations.

News reporters revealed the horrible conditions the fire fighters are subjected to,  including a windowsill was rotted from water damage. Firefighters have to use a tarp over the TV to keep the water off of it. The ceiling reveals water stains water stains in the ceiling due to a water leak. Closer examination shows paper towels stuffed in the ceiling holes to keep the water off of the sleeping fire fighetrs.

We all know that water damage leads to mold damage. In turn mold damage leads to health issues for our fire fighters. Sick fire fighters can not run at optimum efficiency when rescuing our loved ones from house fires. What will be done about this?
